Letter of Recommendation
During the past three years, Ta'zon Watkins was enrolled in the Junior ROTC program at Manual Arts High School. As a Cadet Sergeant he had participated in many activities during and after school. He was a member of the Battalion Courtesy Patrol Team and a member of the Manual Arts Jr Varsity Basketball team. He supported school activities such as parent night, official school visits, awards programs, and other school events.
Ta'zon was very enthusiastic about being in Junior ROTC and enjoyed wearing his uniform with pride. During the four years that Ta'zon was in Junior ROTC, he served in numerous positions of responsibility to include Squad Leader and Company First Sergeant. Ta'zon is highly capable and dependable. He is an effective communicator and team player. Ta'zon respects authority, accepts guidance, and demonstrates initiative. He is honest and mature in his relationships with others. He is kind, courteous, and friendly.
He has the ability to succeed academically and achieve his goals for undergraduate studies. He has already acquired valuable skills, learned in Junior ROTC, which will help him in his future goals.
